WHO Director-General: Thailand within its rights to issue compulsory licenses for HIV drugs

Thailand is entirely within its rights to issue compulsory licenses for antiretroviral drugs, World Health Organization Director-General Margaret Chan has admitted in a letter to the Thai government.
