'Outrage as Econet raids news agency', 27 March 2015: Econet Wireless…raided…news agency, The Source….to retrieve documents…on…its subsidiary, Steward Bank…Econet’s action drew outrage…Information, Media and Broadcasting Services Minister Professor Jonathan Moyo condemned the raid, saying… “… It is one thing to get a court order…against a media house and quite another…to become a law unto yourself in the enforcement of that order.” …The Source[‘s lawyer]…Mr Chris Mhike…said the “invasion” violated the fundamental right of freedom of expression…Mr Mhike said the raid had been conducted while they were waiting for a response to…[an] urgent Constitutional Court application.
