Cambodia: At least 36 construction workers killed as another building collapses in Kep province

After a deadly collapse of a building owned by Chinese in Sihanoukville in June, 2019 killing 28 workers, Cambodia witnesses another deadly collapse of a building in Kep province reportedly killing at least 36 and injuring 23 workers. Cambodia is undergoing a construction boom to serve growing crowds of Chinese tourists and investors, with the Law on Construction being introduced a few months after the first deadly collapse.
