A detailed environmental study was conducted prior to implementation…providing the environmental studies produced and encouraging civil society and the local community to participate in the licensing process, by way of public hearings. All the ventures being implemented in the Industrial and Port Complex of Açu Superport have [been] implemented and are running a series of social and environmental programs…the expropriation process [is] in accordance with the existing legislation…[LLX has taken measures]… to mitigate the social and environmental impacts…there has been no impact on water intended for human consumption.
