Egypt: Hundreds of Omega Ceramics employees allegedly denied overtime wages

Omega Ceramics has reportedly failed to pay overtime wages and bonuses to hundreds of its employees for the past six months. According to the allegations, the company has also disrupted its transportation services for workers living in remote areas, preventing some from returning home after work. Factory workers have initiated a strike to demand their dues. Three workers have allegedly been detained because of their involvement in the strike.

Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Omega Ceramics to respond to the allegations, but has not received a response.
