Myanmar: Workers at Myanmar Tiannan Garment factory report several rights violations incl. mandatory overtime & excessive production targets; Incl. co. responses

In July 2023, it was reported that workers at Myanmar Tiannan Garment faced a series of violations, including wage deductions if workers take leave, excessive production targets and workers forced to quit if they fail to meet the targets requested, verbal abuse, the hiring of daily labourers who are forced to work overtime, and workers having to buy their own medical supplies if there is an injury in the factory.

In October 2023, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited New Yorker (for its FSBN and Black Squad brand) and Coolworks to respond. They did not.
