Nepal Children to Take up Cudgels Against Child Labor

A study conducted by CWIN with support from the International Labor Organization (ILO) and UNICEF on the six worst forms of child labor says about 12,000 girls, including children, are trafficked every year while up to 200,000 are trapped in various brothels in India...According to the ILO-IPEC, of the 2.6 million child workers, who comprise 40 per cent of Nepal's child population, some 127,000 are involved in hazardous labor.
