Stay abreast of soft law initiatives – soft law initiatives such as industry codes of conduct and standards are becoming industry norms and lawyers should be aware of the latest developments in these areas; and 3.Expect civil society to play a role – NGOs have standing to bring complaints under such mechanisms as the National Contact Point of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
