Pepsico Response

Voir tous les tags

PepsiCo was deeply saddened by the tragic incident that occurred at Olam Agro.  We are committed to the safety of our people and those associated with our business.  We therefore follow a strict safety management system, and Olam Agro is obligated to comply with the PepsiCo Supplier Code of Conduct, which requires the same. Upon hearing of the unfortunate incident at the premises of Olam, we immediately reviewed the incident with the supplier and were assured that immediate actions to further strengthen Olam’s own safety management system have been initiated, including carrying out an independent safety audit to avoid recurrence of such incidents in the future. Olam Agro has since reiterated its commitment to PepsiCo’s Supplier Code of Conduct, including ensuring safe working conditions at all its production sites.”
