Ukraine: Govt. designates Barry Callebaut as intl. sponsor of war over continued operations in Russia, incl. co. response

The Ukrainian National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) added the Swiss chocolate manufacturer Barry Callebaut to the list of international war sponsors.

According to NACP, the company continues to be an active actor on the Russian market. Besides, in November 2022 its French representative office allegedly supplied products (cocoa paste, butter) to the Russian confectionery factory Vernost Kachestva LLC, whose chocolate is included in rations of the Russian army.
