Protect the Protest is a task force comprised of lawyers, journalists, communications professionals, and activists working collectively to protect the free speech of public interest advocates in the United States and stop the use of strategic lawsuits against public participation (SLAPPs) to silence dissent.

This series shares the stories of people who have faced SLAPPs and similar tactics as a means to stop their human rights and social justice work and explores the chilling effect of these types of lawuits.
