Victoria's Secret's response to 'Who pays for the crisis' tracker allegations - March 2024

Regarding the situation at Dongguan Gogo, despite claims to the contrary, our merchandise was not being produced in the factory when it closed in January 2023. When we exited the factory in 2022, we adhered carefully to Victoria’s Secret’s standards on responsible departure, and Dongguan Gogo factory management gave assurances that it had business to replace that of Victoria’s Secret, as well as assurances on the long-term viability of the facility.

Even so, due to factors beyond our control, efforts to get these funds to the workers have encountered insurmountable obstacles. Victoria’s Secret remains committed to supporting efforts to pay these workers through legal and ethical means.
