VINCI publishes results of two-part on-site audit of operations in Qatar by Building & Wood Workers' International

The global union federation BWI (Building and Wood Workers' International) undertook the first on-site audit of Vinci's operations in Qatar in January 2019. The audit follows a complaint filed by Sherpa and six migrant workers against Vinci in November 2018 alleging labour abuse, and an agreement on workers' rights signed between BWI, VINCI and Vinci's Qatar subsidiary Qatari Diar Vinci Construction (QDVC) at the ILO in 2017.

The joint audit report was published in April 2019 and is publicly available below.

In late 2021, BWI undertook a second audit of Vinci's operations. The audit revealed enhanced procedures set in place to protect workers' rights including areas such as enhanced working and living conditions. The audit report was published in March 2022 and is publicly available alongside the first report below.
