Zimbabwe: Mine Refutes Diamond Smuggling Accusations

River Ranch Diamond Mine [jointly owned by Kupukile Resources & Rani International (part of Aujan Group)] has vehemently refuted allegations that it smuggled diamonds to South Africa, describing such claims as "false, malicious and meant to tarnish the image of the company and the country at large". Smuggling and illegal selling of the diamonds is a breach of the Kimberley Process, which can lead to Zimbabwe's diamonds being blacklisted.
