ArcelorMittal workers end general strike after 25 days, 6 May 2025
The trade union organization of the "Arselor Mital" mine in Prijedor announced today that after 25 days of general strike, an agreement was reached between the union and the employer and that the key demands of the workers were met, which created the conditions for the smooth continuation of work.
"In addition to the increase in the personal income of the workers, further stability of the business and the preservation of jobs have been ensured," the announcement states.
The union thanked all the workers who participated in the strike for their solidarity, perseverance and dignified behavior, since no incident was recorded...
At the "Arselor Mital" Prijedor mine, work was completely suspended on April 11 due to the failure to reach an agreement between the employer and the trade union on the increase of salary and personal income for the year 2025.
