Campaign for mandatory human rights due diligence in Finland

In September 2018, a coalition of over 70 civil society organisations, companies and trade unions, coordinated by Finnwatch, launched the campaign #Ykkösketjuun calling for mandatory human rights due diligence legislation in Finland. The campaign now counts over 140 companies and organisations.

In June 2019, the new Government in its programme committed to mandatory HRDD legislation at national and EU level. More information is available here.
