The bank has a clear stance regarding controversial sectors such as the mining sector. Within our ESG Framework we comprehensively describe the process that we employ to address social and environmental risks with regard to controversial sectors. Furthermore, as a signatory to the UN Global Compact, Commerzbank is committed to upholding and promoting fundamental human rights, ensuring fair working conditions, combating corruption, and protecting the environment.
