PT Securicor Indonesia (G4S) has been providing security services to Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) since 2006. Any allegations of intimidation by G4S personnel against PTFI employees to force them to return to work during the illegal strike are baseless and false. G4S security employees are unarmed civilians. G4S is providing security support to protect the rights of PTFI employees that choose to work during the illegal strike, a right guaranteed under Indonesian law. G4S will continue to protect the facility and its staff members from security and safety risks.
