...With regard to prior consultation, the process has already formally begun with 97% of the 120 communities certified by the competent authorities, and 38 of them (32%) have successfully completed the formalisation of agreements. These results reflect coordinated efforts among communities, authorities, and the project, based on dialogue, participation, and respect for the rights of ethnic communities.

The progress achieved demonstrates the joint commitment of the communities, the authorities, and the participating companies to create the conditions that will enable the responsible development of Sirius.

At the same time, the Directorate of the National Authority for Prior Consultation (DANCP) continues to process requests for inclusion submitted by additional communities, in compliance with court rulings.
