Why people are dying at Nigmatulin's YDD Corporation plant, 25 July 2024

A sudden burst of flame from a furnace at the YDD Corporation ferroalloy plant took the lives of two workers. Three days after the accident, the furnace manager, Muzafar ISMAILOV, died. The company pledged to pay 10 annual salaries, improve housing conditions, and close the loans of the deceased and his wife. Five more people were in serious condition. The regional health department does not provide exact data; when asked by a Ratel.kz correspondent, they said that the victims had 10 to 100 percent of their bodies burned...

On the evening of July 24, the health department reported that another victim had died...
