Miners nearly died at Kazakhmys mine, 5 November 2025

A tragedy nearly happened at Kazakhmys. A shaft collapsed at the Zhomart mine in the Ulytau region...

The miners miraculously survived.

"The mountain fell right onto the equipment, and miraculously no one was killed. The roof collapsed like an avalanche—a roar, dust, darkness, panic. If the authorities in Astana do not intervene immediately and replace everyone responsible for industrial safety in the region, the next tragedy is just a matter of time.

How many more coffins will it take for officials to understand: Zhomart isn't a mine, it's an underground bomb, ticking away every shift...

The company itself claims everything is under control...
