Minneapolis activists urge investors to take action on Palantir, citing human rights concerns

The campaign, led by a coalition of local activists and civil liberties organizations, alleges that Palantir's software platforms have been used in ways that raise ethical questions around privacy, immigration enforcement, and public sector surveillance. "Public funds should not be tied to companies whose technologies may contribute to controversial surveillance practices," a spokesperson for the Minneapolis-based coalition said. "We are urging the Swiss National Bank to reassess its position and take action consistent with international human rights standards."
According to publicly available disclosures, the Swiss National Bank maintains a diversified global equity portfolio that includes shares in major technology firms.
