The Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Myanmar Airways International to respond to the JFM report alleging that “MAI launched direct flights to Russia in September 2023 and the airline has transported military generals to Russia, where they regularly negotiate arms deals”.

Myanmar Airways International did not respond.
