BHRC invited Minera Exar to respond to allegations of:

• Intensive extraction of saltwater in Cauchari-Olaroz, which endangers wetlands and freshwater sources.
• Lack of compliance with international standards on free, prior, informed consent despite Cauchari-Olaroz being located in lands constitutionally recognized as communal property of Indigenous peoples.

Minera Exar did not respond.
