Response to “Late Night Sunrise”

“Late Night Sunrise”, an independent film by David McNulty and Michael Watts, in association with Salvadoran NGO ADES, is yet another attempt to grossly misrepresent the risks of the El Dorado gold mine, create fear using completely false statements, and worst of all, repeat the completely outrageous allegations that Pacific Rim Mining Corp. has any connection to the deaths of local community members in Cabañas, El Salvador. The people of Pacific Rim are dedicated to the environment, to sustainable development, and to non-violence. We believe in these values to our core. We have taken the best practices for environmentally safe mining from around the world and incorporated them into our mine design for El Dorado.
