In yet more fallout over the Cambridge Analytica scandal, a new lawsuit accuses Facebook of helping a conspiracy to steal user data — and names White House chief strategist Steve Bannon as a co-conspirator.  siliconbeat logo tech news blogA lawsuit filed in San Diego this week names Facebook, Cambridge Analytica, researcher Aleksandr Kogan and Bannon as defendants.  As the lawsuits pile up over the privacy mess, this one appears to be the first to name Bannon as a defendant...[R]eports about the firm that collected Facebook user data without their direct permission say he started Cambridge Analytica — which uses data for political targeting — with funding from Republican donor Robert Mercer...Plaintiffs...filed the lawsuit...in U.S. District Court in the Central District of California, Southern Division.
