The Martabe Gold Mine, located in South Tapanuli, North Sumatra, operates across 646.08 hectares as of December 2024. Since production began on 24 July 2012, the mine has processed over 6 million tonnes of ore annually, producing more than 200,000 ounces of gold and 1–2 million ounces of silver annually.

The Martabe Gold Mine operates under a 30-year Contract of Work (CoW) with the Indonesian Government. Initially spanning 6,560 km² in 1997, the concession area has been refined to 130,252 hectares (1,303 km²), encompassing South Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, North Tapanuli and Mandailing Natal.

As of June 2025, the mine’s mineral resources were estimated at 6.4 million ounces of gold and 58 million ounces of silver, while ore reserves were calculated at 3.56 million ounces of gold and 31 million ounces of silver.

In January 2026, PT Agincourt Resources is reported to have it's forest license in North Sumatra revoked over the connection to deadly Sumatran landslides that killed around 1,200 people.
