Malaysian manufacturing firm ATA IMS (ATA) faces allegations of labour rights violations including making workers “clock overtime beyond the permitted 104 hours limit” and subjecting them to “squalid accommodations.” Media reports also alleges that the company filed a police complaint against labour rights activist Andy Hall. ATA supplies to British technology company Dyson, which allegedly initiated a legal action against the Sunday Mirror concerning the report detailing the allegations of labour rights violations.
