Yokohama Rubber statement

...Although the Yokohama Rubber Group conducts business activities in Russia, due to the raw material procurement difficulties, we have halted production at our Russian passenger car tire manufacturing subsidiary, LLC Yokohama R.P.Z. We will continue our efforts to collect information from our bases around the world and take appropriate measures as needed.

In addition, the Yokohama Rubber and its employee-backed “YOKOHAMA Magokoro Fund” (meaning “YOKOHAMA True Heart Fund”) have donated a total of ¥50 million (comprising ¥49 million from the Yokohama Rubber and ¥1 million from the Fund) through the Japanese Red Cross Society and National Federation of UNESCO Associations in Japan in order to support humanitarian aid for the afflicted people in Ukraine and the neighboring regions.

The Yokohama Rubber Group regards fulfilling our responsibilities to all stakeholders, including Group employees, their families, customers, sales agents, and business partners, as our greatest priority, and we are paying close attention to the developing situation...
