Bangladesh: Recent studies reveal worrying increase in workplace accident deaths in 2021; torture involved in over 140 cases
Recent studies by Safety & Rights Society and Bangladesh Institute of Labour Studies reveal up to 1,000 deaths occurred as a result of workplace accidents in 2021. The BILS study reveals that torture was involved in 147 deaths and another 125 injuries.
