Boohoo's response to Türkiye earthquake aftermath one year on

We are not aware of any instances of severance pay being denied. Our ethical compliance guidelines mandate the payment of severance pay and suppliers must agree to these terms when being onboarded to the boohoo group approved manufacturers list.

We are still actively onboarding new factories in this region and have recently hosted a supplier expo in Turkey attended by 40 Turkish suppliers. This event has helped us to further strengthen relationships between our teams and supplier and allowed us to generate additional business opportunities for Turkish factories. We are also in the process of developing a Migrant Labour Policy which will help clarify our expectations around ethical compliance and the treatment of migrant workers
