NEXT's response to Türkiye earthquake aftermath one year on

NEXT works with a small number of factories in the earthquake-impacted region, with whom we share a long-term business relationship. Our directly employed Code of Practice teams have audited these sites regularly, however due to the aftermath of the earthquake our auditing of these sites remained suspended for a period of time.

We have now commenced auditing but have not identified any these reported violations across the supply chain. If you do have specific cases related to NEXT supply chain then please share with us and we will be happy to investigate and attempt to resolve them. In instances where we get alerted to these breaches of our standards, NEXT takes it seriously and will identify the relevant stakeholders to collaborate with to resolve the issue.

In addition we work with a local NGO in Turkey who provides support to the earthquake impacted people and we do intend to continue this engagement.
