Dell's Response

We share your concern for worker health and well-being, fair wages and good working conditions. Dell takes all allegations seriously and fully investigated the items about our Chennai facility listed in this report. The results of our investigation indicate that we were, and continue to be, fully compliant with all local laws, the Dell Code of Conduct and the EICC Code of Conduct. Dell continues to offer competitive wages and social insurance benefits in line with the industry, and we’ve built even greater awareness of basic policies and procedures into existing benefits sessions. These sessions are reserved for our factory employees to learn, discuss and ask questions on topics such as leave entitlement, statutory deductions, insurance benefits and more. We also provide dedicated human resource managers, health insurance, tuition reimbursement programs, voluntary overtime opportunities and employee resource groups, all of which are available to every employee.
