Our response is below:
- We have provided our response directly to Amnesty International.
- ExxonMobil complies with all applicable governmental laws and regulations, including trade sanctions and export controls regulations. Any potential sale of aviation fuel related to Myanmar would be conducted in accordance with applicable law.
- ExxonMobil actively promotes respect for human rights, and we condemn human rights violations in any form. We are committed to respecting human rights as a fundamental principle in our operations, guided by the goals of universally recognized principles, integrated into our policies and practices, and regularly reinforced through training.
- We work to safeguard the health and security of our employees and the public, responsibly manage our social impacts, and uphold respect for human rights in our operations.
- Our practices reflect the spirit and intent of the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights and incorporate elements of the United Nations’ Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
