Company Response

Rosneft's response

We would like to provide our comment in response to your request from December 2, 2022:

Rosneft strictly abides by international law and regulation in its operations. At the same time, the Company always performs due diligence on its counterparties and strictly follows internal compliance procedures.

In the Amnesty International report you mentioned, Rosneft is named among “the suppliers of Jet A-1 fuel delivered to Myanmar between February 2021 and August 2022”. However, this conclusion is false.

Rosneft provided Amnesty International with some information about fuel deliveries to Myanmar (the Company’s response can be found in Annex 5 to the report), but that information did not mean that Rosneft had been the supplier in the deal.

In this regard, we ask you to take into account this information and not to allow incorrect interpretations of the information provided by the Company when publishing the article.

Otherwise, we reserve the right to seek all the remedies available to us to protect our rights, legitimate interests and business reputation in the event of a breach thereof.
