Fristads' update re. allegations of abuses in Fullway Myanmar Clothing factory

Further to the allegations against our partner factory of serious violations published in the Myanmar Labour News, an independent and unannounced inspection has been conducted at Fullway on February the 14th by the officers from the Myanmar General Labour Laws inspection Department.

As per attached document and translation, none of the allegations made by the newspaper were proven to be true.

And, on the subject of availability of a doctor at the factory, please note, that there are never doctors at factory just in some cases, nurses.

We will continue to monitor that our partner suppliers, share and implement respect of Human rights but will also support them in case of defamatory allegations.
