Mondelēz International's response on sourcing from REPSA

At Mondelēz International, we are committed to making our snacks the right way, protecting the planet and respecting the human rights of people in our value chain, including our palm oil supply chain, in line with our Palm Oil Action Plan and using the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), as a framework for preventing and addressing associated risks. We expect our palm oil suppliers to carry-out human rights due diligence, in line with the framework of the UNGPs, in their own operations and their upstream supply chains. We are committed to meaningful engagement with all potential and actually impacted rights holders, and we seek to work with suppliers who share this commitment.

Mondelēz International does not source directly from REPSA, however the company is a supplier to suppliers of ours. We are concerned by the allegations raised by a group of NGOs in an open letter issued earlier this month. To the best of our knowledge, all the allegations raised currently are allegations that were raised in the past, were logged in our grievance process, were carefully analysed and evaluated together with third party consultants, advisers and suppliers...
