Company Response

Peugeot Société Anonyme (PSA) response

Thanks for your email and giving us the chance to share with you our response.

Stellantis considers its employees as its most important asset and has consistently developed a strong social dialogue that enables the co-construction of a common future.

The Kenitra plant is driven by the same values and strives every day to ensure a peaceful and constructive dialogue in strict compliance with the regulations related to the labor law including the management of working hours, safety and medical insurance.

The Kenitra plant adopted in 2019 the “annualization of working hours” system, called "Bank of Hours", applied in many factories of the group and which guarantees a constant monthly salary to each employee despite the fluctuations in of the level of activity (which is impacted upwards or downwards by commercial demand, by crises, etc.).

This system helped to maintain the employees’ remuneration in March 2020 during the plant shutdown at the start of the pandemic.

We deplore the walkout that took place without notice on January 27th, 2021 within the plant following the communication of these rules, very similar to those adopted at the beginning of 2020.

We also note with regret that erroneous information and defamatory comments are propagated and relayed.

To date, there is no Trade Union Office within the Kenitra plant.

Meetings were held with staff representatives, which led to several subjects being addressed in a constructive spirit. We continue and encourage ongoing social dialogue with employee representatives to assist us in moving forwards together towards the future.
