Rio Tinto's response

Rio Tinto has engaged in detail and in good faith with the authors of this rejoinder on these issues. We respectfully disagree with many of the statements made, including about our commitment to the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) which are the foundation of our Group-wide human rights program. Rio Tinto continues to make progress in implementing the UNGPs across our operations and maintains a fundamental respect for the human rights of everyone with whom we interact.
