On...29 October 2019, the Cabinet has approved and adopted the First National Action on Business and Human Rights (NAP) (2019-2022) as proposed by the Rights and Liberties Protection Department, Ministry of Justice, marking Thailand the first country in Asia to adopt the stand-alone National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights. The preparation of the NAP is based on a participatory process involving all concerned parties including government sectors, state owned enterprises, business sectors and civil societies...The making of the NAP has been commenced since 2016...
