Nigerians’ Pfizer case moving forward

…The High Court this week rejected the…[Pfizer’s] appeal of a court ruling that allowed the lawsuits filed by the Nigerians in U.S. courts to go forward...Word came from the Supreme Court the same day lawyers…filed a new, $343 billion lawsuit in Nigeria and sought an injunction to halt any further actions by a committee overseeing a $35 million trust fund set up by Pfizer to compensate victims. The federal high court of Nigeria granted the injunction Tuesday…Pfizer denies all the allegations…Pfizer said this week it was disappointed with the high court order, but noted it still might win dismissal of the lawsuits on other grounds…
