The Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Dumont Nickel project, proposed by Magneto Investments, to respond to risks and local community concerns of anticipated exceedance of several regulations in Quebec regarding air quality, noise and surface groundwater quality, as well as risks of accidents, spills, health, public safety and environmental damage that could be perpetrated by Dumont Nickel once extraction begins. The company did not respond.
