Response by Volvo

...We would like to give you a short update on the work we have done...noting that Swedwatch has acknowledged our efforts and progress.

...Since the publication of Swedwatch's 2018 report, we have worked with a credible human rights expert organization to understand our scope of responsibility, and broader country-level and industry level human rights risks in Myanmar, relevant for Volvo CE's business. Our partner organization has extensive experience from performing similar work in Myanmar. As part of this engagement, they had discussions with three renowned local human rights and responsible business organizations in Myanmar.

We will continue to take the outcome of our work into consideration as we strengthen our responsible sales approach...
