Intertek response

...OWRO infers that Intertek Azeri, the Group’s business unit in Azerbaijan, has made a significant proportion of its workforce redundant and in some cases employees were forced to write their own letters of termination. OWRO’s statements in regards to Intertek Azeri and its treatment of its workforce are wholly inaccurate and misleading. The Group has not implemented any significant number, or any programme, of redundancies in Azerbaijan and currently has no plans to conduct any significant redundancies. Intertek is committed to high standards of professional conduct, and to ethical and fair business dealings with its employees, stakeholders, and third parties.
