TikTok's (part of ByteDance) response

We welcome respectful discussion and believe everyone should feel safe sharing their voice. We do not tolerate bullying or harassment of any kind, as outlined in our Community Guidelines. This includes coordinated attacks against individuals or groups, such as human rights defenders. Our online Safety Center provides victims and their loved ones with information about our bullying prevention policies and tools, including our online reporting tool, which allows individuals to report potentially violative content. Additonally, our Sub-Saharan (SSA) Safety Advisory Council brings together experts from across the region with a diverse range of backgrounds to work closely with us on developing policies and processes that tackle today’s safety concerns.
