The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Chinese Academy of International trade and Economic Cooperation (CAITEC) of the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) of China, and the Research Centre of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council of China jointly initiated this survey to understand the sustainability of Chinese enterprises’ performances overseas, especially in the social and environmental aspects. The results collected from this survey will be used for the 2016 Report on the Sustainable Development of Chinese Enterprises Overseas, following the 2015 Report on the same topic.
