ekaterra's response to allegations of rights abuses on Sri Lankan tea plantations

It is crucial for us to purchase tea that adheres to the highest environmental and social standards. We obtain only 2% of our global volume from Sri Lanka, which is Rainforest Alliance certified.

We have brought these findings to the attention of the Rainforest Alliance (RA), the organization responsible for certifying the tea farms we source from in Sri Lanka. We expect the tea produced by these farms to comply with sustainability standards, which include fair working conditions and wages for workers.

We are actively engaged in discussions with the RA regarding their upcoming actions and the essential measures they plan to implement.
