As daunting as the [AIDS] epidemic’s scope and consequences are, interventions are feasible and have positive results. A decade ago, the Novartis Foundation for Sustainable Development (NFSD) collaborated in the creation of an ambitious Regional Psychosocial Support Initiative (REPSSI) to improve the psychosocial well-being of children in Africa. Today in 2011, REPSSI’s partner network provides psychosocial support to over 5 million children and youth in 1,994 project sites across East and Southern Africa
