Factory Non-Judicial Grievance Mechanism (Framework) Advisory Draft [China]

This non-judicial grievance mechanism for factories is based on the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights...The purpose of this grievance mechanism is to provide a trusted process for resolving disputes that occur within the factory. It also promotes the realization of a "harmonious enterprise" and effectively improves the relationships between employers, management and among individual employees...The procedure portion of this grievance mechanism is still a framework. At present, applying the eight effectiveness principles is still relatively challenging within China; as such, factories may need to make adjustments according to their individual circumstances. Nevertheless, factories should always make the eight effectiveness principles their ultimate goal.
