FIFA President announces worker welfare monitoring system for Qatar 2022 World Cup

FIFA President Gianni Infantino has announced the formation of an independent committee to monitor working conditions at Qatar 2022 World Cup sites. The announcement was made during a two-day visit to Qatar during which he visited Khalifa International Stadium and workers' accommodation, and met with the Emir and Prime Minister.
